We are pleased your journey of faith has led you to this moment of connection with our faith community. If you are searching for a church home, we invite you to worship with us, ask questions, tell us what you are looking for in a church, and share your story of faith with us. As a community of Christian faith, our life together begins as we worship God. Out of that center, we try to create an atmosphere where all are welcome to bring their full selves into relationship with God and one another. As Congregationalists, we affirm the notion of "soul freedom", which implies that each person is responsible for theological reflection that shapes and directs their lives. This is a place where we can reflect together on God's presence in our lives, individually and collectively. Our hope is that in this context of worship and support each one of us will be empowered to develop and use our gifts in God's service, both here and in the community. So please, walk with us as we struggle, celebrate, grow, mature, and joyfully serve our God in justice, mercy, and love.
As an Open and Affirming congregation we embrace Christ's command to love God with all our hearts and our neighbors as ourselves. Therefore, we welcome everyone regardless of ethnic background, economic circumstance, sexual orientation, family configuration, or difference in ability. All who seek the love of Christ are welcome to the Cummington Village Church, United Church of Christ, and to share fully in its life and ministry. In response to the Spirit of Christ in our midst, we glorify God and rejoice in the inherent worth, dignity, and gifts of every person as a child of God. Come into the house of the Lord all of God's people. Come singing songs of great praise, for this is the day that our Lord has made.

From west and east the most accessible road is Route 9. Once in the town of Cummington, look for signs for “Main Street.”
(From the west this will be just after The Creamery store and from the East, near the turnoff for the Cummington Fairgrounds and Post Office.) Turn off Route 9 to the north onto Main Street. This loop road will bring you into the center of the Village.
As you progress down Main Street, the Village Congregational Church will be just a tenth of a mile on the right, across from
the Town’s Community House. Parking is located beside and behind the church.
